Balance is a simple but powerful generic TCP proxy with round robin load
balancing and failover mechanisms. Its behaviour can be controlled at runtime
using a simple command line syntax.
The latest release now supports the definition of channel groups, connection
counting, and handling. Boosting the power, and versatility of balance, one
big step further.

A little program to bounce TCP connections to another machine/port.
By default it listens on port 1523.
This is a collection of clustering tools to turn your ordinary everyday pile
of UNIX workstations into a speedy parallel beast. This facilitates managing
a set of program executing in parallel with a very flexible authentication
scheme.

DHCPerf Provides Communication Providers with Predictive Planning
Tools to Scale Networks.
This tool, DHCPerf, delivers accurate performance metrics
of Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) services. These tools
are easy-to-use and simulate real Internet workloads to provide the
necessary insight that carriers need to plan and deploy network
services.
DHCPerf measures the DHCP lease assignments to client computers by
ramping up lease assignment over time to determine the maximum
performance profile.
This command parses the output of tcpdump to display the dhcp-packets
for easier checking and debugging.
This program allows a system administrator to check if a remote
DHCP server is still functioning.
