Wrapping library to the System Tools Backends
Liboop is a low-level event loop management library for POSIX-based operating
systems. It supports the development of modular, multiplexed applications
which may respond to events from several sources. It replaces the "select()
loop" and allows the registration of event handlers for file and network I/O,
timers and signals. Since processes use these mechanisms for almost all
external communication, liboop can be used as the basis for almost any
application.
This is GNU libltdl, a system independent dlopen wrapper for GNU libtool.
It supports the following dlopen interfaces:
* dlopen (Solaris, Linux and various BSD flavors)
* shl_load (HP-UX)
* LoadLibrary (Win16 and Win32)
* load_add_on (BeOS)
* GNU DLD (emulates dynamic linking for static libraries)
* libtool's dlpreopen
OpenSync is a PIM (Personal Information Management) data synchronization
framework that consists of several plug-ins that can be used to
connect to different devices and systems. For a list of currently supported
devices see http://www.opensync.org/wiki/DeviceCompatibilityList.

OSSP mm is a 2-layer abstraction library which simplifies
the usage of shared memory between forked (and this way strongly
related) processes under Unix platforms. On the first layer it
hides all platform dependent implementation details (allocation
and locking) when dealing with shared memory segments and on the
second layer it provides a high-level malloc(3)-style API for a
convenient and well known way to work with data-structures inside
those shared memory segments.

The libmba package is a collection of mostly independent C modules potentially
useful to any project. There are hashmap, linkedlist, and stack ADTs, a DOM-
like interface that can load and store XML files for simple XML processing, a
module for managing error codes and associated messages across separate C
libraries, and more.
Orcus is a library that provides a collection of standalone file processing
filters. It is currently focused on providing filters for spreadsheet
documents, but filters for other productivity application types (such as
wordprocessor and presentation) are in consideration.
