Ytree is a nifty file manager similar to xtree. With some helper-applications (zip/zoo/tar etc.) you can also browse archive files. Viewers for "special" files are configurable (*.wav, *.gif etc.).

This package aims to provide a central list of the country, language, and currency names and their translations. The data comes from ISO standards 639 (language names), 3166 (country names), 3166-2 (sub-territory) and 4217 (currency). The translations are from the Translation Project. The data is provided in tabular files as well as XML.

Bestfit is a small program to determine which files that should be put on a CD (or other media), so that as little space as possible is wasted. It is very easy to use: you specify files on the command line, and bestfit prints the names of those that were selected. Alternatively, bestfit can execute a command for each selected file (eg. to move them to a different directory).

kbdscan is a small program to set the FreeBSD console keyboard in raw scancode mode and show scancodes of keys pressed and released. Five seconds of inactivity resets the console to the original mode and quits the program.

The libpri is a C implementation of the Primary Rate ISDN specification. It was based on the Bellcore specification SR-NWT-002343 for National ISDN. As of May 12, 2001, it has been tested work with NI-2, Nortel DMS-100, and Lucent 5E C ustom protocols on switches from Nortel and Lucent.

Logsurfer is a program for monitoring system logs in real-time, and reporting on the occurrence of events. It is similar to the well-known swatch program on which it is based, but offers a number of advanced features which swatch does not support. Logsurfer is capable of grouping related log entries together - for instance, when a system boots it usually creates a high number of log messages. In this case, logsurfer can be setup to group boot-time messages together and forward them in a single Email message to the system administrator under the subject line "Host xxx has just booted". Swatch just couldn't do this properly.
