Dvdimagecmp is a small program to compare an image to a burned disc. It is not limited to dvds, and supports offsets.

Atop is an ASCII full-screen performance monitor that is capable of reporting the activity of all processes (even if processes have finished during the interval), daily logging of system and process activity for long-term analysis, highlighting overloaded system resources by using colors, etc. At regular intervals, it shows system-level activity related to the CPU, memory, swap, disks, and network layers, and for every active process it shows the CPU utilization, the memory growth, priority, username, state, and exit code.

geteltorito is a small Perl script which will extract (and display information about) an El Torito boot image from a real CD or a CD image. This helps you modify the boot image when you want to burn a modified version of the CD in question.

A port of a tool which tries to guess the primary partition table of a PC-type hard disk in case the primary partition table in sector 0 is damaged, incorrect or deleted. The guessed table can be written to a file or device.
