SDR-J (formerly Jsdr) is a suite of four programs provided under a LGPL open source license for playing around with sdr (software defined radio). The software can be used directly with the PM-SDR kit and RTL2832U based dongles, and in the 32 bits Windows version with other kits as well. The suite contains four programs: - a full blown "short wave" receiver, which provides tuning in the range of 100K .. 165M using the PM-SDR (although above 55 M with reduced performance) and from app 55 MHz to app 900 Mhz or above using an RTL2832U based dongle. The receiver provides quite a number of decoders for amateur modes. - am/fm receiver covering the same frequency bands as the sw receiver, however, with am bandwidths selectable, with fm mono and stereo decoding as well as with rds decoding. - spectrum viewer for use with the RTL2832U based dongles, showing spectra of up to 3 Mhz bandwidth. - mini receiver, a stripped version of the fm receiver, a gadget for listening to WFM using DAB sticks.

The KB contest logging computer program runs on the Linux operating system with the Gnome desktop. The program is under development, and currently supports the CQ WW, CQ WPX, and ARRL DX contests, plus Field Day. Features include on-the-fly dupe checking, CW and voice message keying, super check partial, packet (Telnet and rf nodes), networking, and radio control (currently for the FT-1000 only). The program is designed to be used by U.S. stations, with some support for Canadian stations. New features and contests are being added regularly, and I will consider adding support for DX stations if there is sufficient demand. The JavaTM Communications API can be used to write platform-independent communications applications for applications like voice mail, fax and smartcards. This version of the Java Communications API contains support for RS232 serial ports and IEEE 1284 parallel ports. With updated functionality, one can: Enumerate ports available on the system. Open and claim ownership of ports. Resolve port ownership contention between multiple applications. Perform asynchronous and synchronous I/O on ports. Receive Beans-style events describing communication port state changes.

The jerm is primarily intended to communicate with a remote machine through a serial interface. Additionally jerm can communicate with another through a TCP/IP connection like telnet and relay a serial communication to a TCP/IP connection to another remote machine.

KLog is a simple amateur radio logging program for KDE. It supports QSL management, DXCC, WAZ and local awards, DX Clusters, Basic IOTA, Satellite support, and import from ADIF, TLF, and Cabrillo formats.

The overall goal of this project is to make an open source implementation of the Object Exchange (OBEX) protocol. OBEX is a session protocol and can best be described as a binary HTTP protocol. It's used mainly for Infrared and Bluetooth communication.

The concordance software suite allows you to program your Logitech Harmony remote using a configuration object retreived from the harmony website. The Logitech Harmony is a highly configuration universal remote than can control most multimedia devices. This port contains the C Libraries for the concordance framework.
