Library to access USB HID-class devices
HIDAPI is a platform independent library that allows applications to work with USB HID-Class devices. While it can be used to communicate with standard HID devices like keyboards, mice, and joysticks, it is most useful when used with custom (Vendor-Defined) HID devices.

Sun's Java Communications API
The JavaTM Communications API can be used to write platform-independent communications applications for applications like voice mail, fax and smartcards. This version of the Java Communications API contains support for RS232 serial ports and IEEE 1284 parallel ports. With updated functionality, one can: Enumerate ports available on the system. Open and claim ownership of ports. Resolve port ownership contention between multiple applications. Perform asynchronous and synchronous I/O on ports. Receive Beans-style events describing communication port state changes.

Several forward error correction (FEC) decoders
This library package provides several forward error correction (FEC) decoders and accelerated primitives useful in digital signal processing (DSP). Except for the Reed-Solomon codecs, these functions take full advantage of the MMX, SSE and SSE2 SIMD instruction sets on Intel/AMD IA-32 processors and the Altivec/VMX/Velocity Engine SIMD instruction set on the G4 and G5 PowerPC. The library includes Viterbi decoders for the following convolutional codes: rate 1/2 k=7 rate 1/2 k=9 rate 1/6 k=15 ("Cassini") plus two Reed-Solomon encoder-decoders: one optimized for the (255,223) CCSDS standard code a general purpose encoder/decoder for arbitrary RS codes and three low-level 16-bit DSP support routines: signed dot product peak detection sum-of-squares (energy) computation This library is licensed under the "lesser" GNU General Public License.

Perl interface to the Cisco UCS XML API
This package provides an abstracted interface to the Cisco UCS Manager XML API and Cisco UCS Management Information Model. The Cisco UCS Manager (UCSM) is an embedded software agent providing access to the hardware and configuration management features of attached Cisco UCS hardware. The Management Information Model for the UCSM is organised into a structured heirachy of both physical and virtual objects. Accessing objects within the heirachy is done through a number of high level calls to heirachy search and traversal methods

Driver-based API for sending SMS messages
SMS::Send is intended to provide a driver-based single API for sending SMS and MMS messages. The intent is to provide a single API against which to write the code to send an SMS message. At the same time, the intent is to remove the limits of some of the previous attempts at this sort of API, like "must be free internet-based SMS services". SMS::Send drivers are installed separately, and might use the web, email or physical SMS hardware. It could be a free or paid. The details shouldn't matter. You should not have to care how it is actually sent, only that it has been sent (although some drivers may not be able to provide certainty).
