YeahConsole is a terminal wrapper for creating drop-down consoles, similar
to those found in games like Quake.
By default, YeahConsole is activated and hidden with Ctrl+Alt+Y.
dmenu is a minimalistic X11 menu. It reads a newline separated list of items
from stdin and shows them as a menu on the top of the screen. When the user
selects one item or types any text and presses Enter, his choice is printed to
stdout.
dmenu was developed as an addition to the dynamic window manager (dwm), but can
be used in any X11-environment.
Docker is a docking application (WindowMaker dock app)
which acts as a system tray for KDE3 and GNOME2. It can
be used to replace the panel in either environment,
allowing you to have a system tray without running the
KDE/GNOME panel.
dxpc is an X protocol compressor designed to improve the speed of X11
applications run over low-bandwidth links (such as dialup PPP
connections). dxpc attempts to exploit patterns in X protocol
messages to limit the amount of data actually sent over the network.
fbdesk is a small application designed for the Fluxbox windowmanager that
allows management of icons on the desktop.

xrootconsole is a small utility which displays its input in a transparent
text box on X's root window. It will read from any file listed on the
command line or, by default, from stdin. It is most useful when it reads
from a FIFO; this allows you to redirect multiple commands to the FIFO
and monitor their output.
Xscreesaver-gnome-hacks is a collection of screensaver modules that can
be used with xscreensaver or gnome-screensaver.
Babl is a dynamic, any to any, pixel format conversion library. It
provides conversions between the myriad of buffer types images can be
stored in. Babl doesn't only help with existing pixel formats, but also
facilitates creation of new and uncommon ones.
The sbxkb program is modernized replacement for classic xxkb. It is not
as configurable, but avoids few very annoying bugs of xxkb (i.e. it just
works). Comes with 224 national flag icons.
