Ensemblist is a unique reflexion game created for the video game coding
compo held in March 2003 in Paris.
In this game, you have to put together several simple geometric
primitives to build a given shape. For this, you can move, rotate and
compose the primitives with the boolean operators union, intersection
and minus. This is building what is called a C.S.G, for Constructive
Solid Geometry.
OpenTyrian is a port of the DOS shoot-em-up Tyrian. Jason Emery
generously gave the OpenTyrian developers a copy of the Tyrian 2.1
source code, which has since been ported from Turbo Pascal to C.
The port uses SDL, making it easily cross-platform.
Tyrian is an arcade-style vertical scrolling shooter. The story is
set in 20,031 where you play as Trent Hawkins, a skilled fighter-pilot
employed to fight Microsol and save the galaxy.
Mahotas is a computer vision and image processing library for Python. It
includes many algorithms implemented in C++ for speed while operating in
numpy arrays and with a very clean Python interface.
Notable algorithms:
- Watershed
- Convex points calculations
- Hit & miss thinning
- Zernike & Haralick, LBP, and TAS features
- Freeimage-based numpy image loading
- Speeded-Up Robust Features (SURF), a form of local features
- Thresholding
- Convolution
- Sobel edge detection
'pgperl' is a version of the Perl language which has available
the PGPLOT FORTRAN library, a very popular package for plotting
astronomical data. (As a glance through any issue of ApJ or MNRAS will
confirm.) The details of this involve some complicated C glue routines
but are transparent to the user.
See the file LICENSE in /usr/local/share/doc/pgperl for copyright/licensing
information and the file pgperl.doc on how to use pgplot from perl.
pyexiv2 is a python binding to exiv2, the C++ library for manipulation of
EXIF and IPTC image metadata. It is a python module that allows your python
scripts to read and write metadata (EXIF, IPTC, thumbnail) embedded in image
files (JPEG, TIFF, ...).
It is designed as a high level interface to the functionalities offered by
exiv2 (and is built on top of it). Using python's built-in data types and
standard modules, it provides easy manipulation of image metadata.
OSBF-Lua (Orthogonal Sparse Bigrams with confidence Factor) is a Lua C module
for text classification. It is a port of the OSBF classifier implemented in the
CRM114 project. This implementation attempts to put focus on the classification
task itself by using Lua as the scripting language, a powerful yet light-weight
and fast language, which makes it easier to build and test more elaborated
filters and training methods.
The MPFR library is a C library for multiple-precision floating-point
computations with exact rounding (also called correct rounding). It
is based on the GMP multiple-precision library.
The main goal of MPFR is to provide a library for multiple-precision
floating-point computation which is both efficient and has a well-defined
semantics. It copies the good ideas from the ANSI/IEEE-754 standard for
double-precision floating-point arithmetic (53-bit mantissa).
quvi is a command line tool for parsing flash media stream URLs. It supports
many websites including YouTube and Dailymotion.
Starting from 0.4.0, the quvi distribution has split into libquvi-scripts,
libquvi and quvi.
libquvi is a cross-platform library for parsing flash media stream URLs with C
API.
libquvi originates from the idea of allowing users to view the videos without
having to install or use flash. It is a "workaround", not an "alternative" to
flash.

RAToolSet is a suite of policy analysis tools. It is implemented in C++ on a
UNIX platform. It has been ported successfully to many platforms including
Sun Sparc stations running SunOS 4.1.3 or Solaris, FreeBSD, DEC Alphas
running OSF/1, and BSDI. It contains the following programs:
rtconfig routing policy analyzer and router configuration tool
peval a low-level policy evaluation tool
rpslcheck syntax checks the aut-num policy for an AS
