PEAR::MDB2_Schema enables users to maintain RDBMS independant schema
files in XML that can be used to create, alter and drop database entities
and insert data into a database. Reverse engineering database schemas from
existing databases is also supported. The format is compatible with both
PEAR::MDB and Metabase.
PEAR::MDB_QueryTool is an OO-abstraction to the SQL-Query language, it provides
methods such as setWhere, setOrder, setGroup, setJoin, etc. to easily build
queries.
It also provides an easy to learn interface that interacts nicely with
HTML-forms using arrays that contain the column data, that shall be
updated/added in a DB. This package bases on an SQL-Builder which lets you
easily build SQL-Statements and execute them.

Wolfram Kriesing and Paolo Panto (vision:produktion, wk@visionp.de).
This extension is a PHP binding for Google LevelDB
A PECL extension to provide read access to MDB data files as used by Microsoft
Access and its underlying JetEngine. It is based on libmdb from the mdbtools
package.
pecl-mongo provides an interface for communicating with the
Mongo database in PHP.
The python-rrdtool provides a interface to rrdtool, the
wonderful graphing and logging utility. This wrapper
implementation has worked from the scratch (without SWIG),
and it's under LGPL.
pdo_user provides a Userspace interface for PDO drivers.
The sql package adds the command sql to tcl. The author's intention is
to build generic database interface for TCL, but currently he only
supports MySQL.
