This package aims to provide a central list of the country, language,
and currency names and their translations. The data comes from
ISO standards 639 (language names), 3166 (country names),
3166-2 (sub-territory) and 4217 (currency).
The translations are from the Translation Project. The data is provided
in tabular files as well as XML.
OSSP uuid is a ISO-C and Perl application programming interface (API)
and corresponding command line interface (CLI) for the generation of
DCE 1.1 and ISO/IEC 11578:1996 compliant Universally Unique Identifiers
(UUID). It supports DCE 1.1 variant UUIDs of version 1 (time and node
based), version 3 (name based, MD5), version 4 (random number based) and
version 5 (name based, SHA-1).
Geo::Coder::Many provides a single interface to different remote (ie HTTP based)
geocoding modules
Amongst other things, Geo::Coder::Many adds geocoder precision information,
alternative scheduling methods (weighted random, and ordered list), timeouts for
geocoders which are failing, and optional callbacks for result filtering and
picking.
This distribution contains a module I18N::Charset which maps Character
Set names to the names officially registered with IANA. For example,
'Shift_JIS' is the official name of 'x-sjis'.
It also maps character set names to Unicode::Map8 conversion scheme
names (if Unicode::Map8 is installed). For example, the Unicode::Map8
scheme name for 'windows-1251' is 'cp1251'.
Locale::Geocode is a module that provides an interface with which to find
codes and information on geographical locations and their administrative
subdivisions as defined primarily by ISO 3166-1 and ISO 3166-2. It is the
most complete ISO 3166 module available on CPAN.
Also included are, where applicable, FIPS codes.
LEGO::RCX is a perl module for communicating with your LEGO(tm) Mindstorms(tm)
RCX computer through the IR dongle. It is an object-oriented module with
methods for everything from controlling the motors, reading sensors, modifying
program variables, and getting data from the DataLog.
List::Compare is a Perl module which allows you to compare lists.
More than two lists can be compared, in either full or accelerated way,
via both array/list and hash references, and, finally, via both
object-oriented and functional call style.
Colortail works like the standard tail but it can optionally read
a color config file where it's specified expressions that results
in colors. It can be used to quickly get an overview of interesting
activity by ie. colorize those brightred or some other color of
your choose.
Tie::DxHash implements a hash which preserves insertion order and allows
duplicate keys. It was written to facilitate the use of more complex
mod_rewrite rules in Apache configuration files written with Perl Sections.
See the module's POD for details.
