GL2PS is a C library providing high quality vector output for any OpenGL
application. The main difference between GL2PS and other similar libraries
is the use of sorting algorithms capable of handling intersecting and
stretched polygons, as well as non manifold objects. GL2PS provides advanced
smooth shading and text rendering, culling of invisible primitives, mixed
vector/bitmap output, and much more...
GL2PS can currently create PostScript (PS), Encapsulated PostScript (EPS)
and Portable Document Format (PDF) files, as well as LATEX files for the
text fragments.
GSPdf is a Postscript and Pdf Viewer for GNUstep.
It is a frontend for Ghostscript.
LICENSE: GPL2 or later
GNU gv allows to view and navigate through PostScript and PDF documents on
an X display by providing a user interface for the ghostscript interpreter.
Foxit Reader is a free PDF document viewer for the Linux platform, with a new
streamlined interface, user-customized toolbar, incredibly small size,
breezing-fast launch speed and rich features. This empowers PDF document users
with Zoom function, Navigation function, Bookmarks, Thumbnails, Text Selection
Tool, Snapshot, and Full Screen capabilities. Foxit Reader for Desktop Linux
is provided by Foxit Corporation free for non-commercial use.
hp2xx reads HPGL ASCII source files, interprets them, and
converts them into either another vector-oriented format
or one of several rasterfile formats. Currently, its HPGL
parser recognizes a subset of the HP 7550A command set.
Some high-level functions like filled polygons are missing
Also, only the basic fixed character set 0 is supported
Besides these limitations, hp2xx has proven to work with
many HP-GL sources without any trouble.
It allows conversion from HPGL to:
mf (MetaFont), eps (PostScript), pcl (HP-PCL Level3),
pre(view), pcx (PaintBrush-Format), img (GEM),
pic (ATARI bitmap), pbm (Portable Bitmap),
png (Portable Network Graphics), ...
HarfBuzz is an OpenType text shaping engine.
HPLIP is an HP developed solution for printing, scanning,
and faxing with HP inkjet and laser based printers in Linux.
The HP driver project provides printing support for nearly
1000 printer models, including Deskjet, Officejet, Photosmart,
PSC (Print Scan Copy), Business Inkjet, LaserJet, and LaserJet MFP.
hscolour is a small Haskell script to colourise Haskell code. It
currently has six output formats: ANSI terminal codes (optionally
XTerm-256colour codes), HTML 3.2 with font tags, HTML 4.01 with CSS,
HTML 4.01 with CSS and mouseover annotations, XHTML 1.0 with inline CSS
styling, LaTeX, and mIRC chat codes.
LGrind is a descendant of the Unix utility vgrind. It is
used to produce a beautified version of your source code using LaTeX. Unlike
other packages this is not pure TeX but an external preprocessor. You run e.g.
lgrind example.c > example.tex
latex example.tex
to get a complete listing. Options for producing includable files and pro-
cessing embedded listings in LaTeX texts are provided.
This port contains the programming reference for print/libgnomeprint.
