This module is a wrapper around Net::Jabber that allows you to do one thing simply - send Jabber messages. It is useful for daemon processes, cron jobs or in any program that you want to be able to get your attention via Jabber.

Net::Jabber The Jabber Instant Messaging project is an Open Source project seeking to provide a complete cross protocol messaging solution. A pidgin plugin that allows user to assign global hotkeys (e.g. Ctrl+Alt+g) for togglling buddy list and reading queued message. When "Toggle List" hotkey is enabled, it makes the buddy list hidden from your taskbar and task switcher (similar to ICQ).
